WhatsApp Booking for Doctors

It's 11pm. A patient just messaged your clinic. Who's replying?

Patients don't wait for a reply. A message that sits unread after hours often means they've already tried the next clinic on Google by morning. Pluxo's AI receptionist replies in under 60 seconds, 24/7.

The problem

Why WhatsApp messages go cold overnight.

Patients message at 10pm, 6am, during your surgeries. Your receptionist works 9 to 6. Those after-hours messages sit unread until the patient has already booked elsewhere.

Hiring a receptionist costs ₹15,000-20,000 per month. Training them takes weeks. They take leaves, make mistakes, and you still can't cover nights or Sundays.

You're personally replying to WhatsApp messages between patients. Checking your phone during consultations. It's exhausting and unprofessional.

Patients ask the same 20 questions repeatedly: 'What are your timings?', 'Do you treat piles?', 'How much is the consultation fee?' Your staff answers these 50 times a day.

Phone calls go unanswered during busy OPD hours. Patients who can't reach you by call or WhatsApp simply move on to the next doctor on Google.

How Pluxo solves this

A reply in a minute, at any hour.

AI that knows your practice

The receptionist is trained on your specific clinic: your treatments, timings, fees, location, and doctor profiles. It doesn't give generic answers. It gives your answers.

Appointment booking via chat

Patients pick a date and time slot right inside WhatsApp. The AI checks your Google Calendar for availability, confirms the slot, and sends a reminder before the appointment.

Booking confirmation in chat

Patients get a booking confirmation with clinic details, directions, and what to bring. Clear communication before they arrive means fewer no-shows.

Handles FAQs automatically

Clinic timings, directions, parking, insurance acceptance, treatment costs. The AI handles the repetitive questions so your staff can focus on patients who are already at the clinic.

Seamless handoff to you

Complex queries or emergencies get flagged and routed to you or your staff immediately. The AI knows when to step back and let a human take over.

Learns and improves continuously

Every conversation makes the AI smarter about your practice. New treatments, updated fees, changed timings. It adapts without you having to retrain anything manually.

How a chat goes

An 11pm message, answered at 11pm.

An example with a made-up clinic.

  1. Patient

Hi, is Dr. Iyer available tomorrow? My son has had a fever since evening.

  2. Pluxo

Hello, this is Little Steps Clinic's AI receptionist. Dr. Iyer sees patients tomorrow from 9 to 12. These slots are open: 9:15, 10:30, 11:45.

  3. Patient

    9:15 please.

  4. Pluxo

Booked: your son with Dr. Iyer at 9:15 tomorrow. If his breathing becomes difficult or he is very drowsy tonight, please go to the nearest emergency department.

  5. Your team

At 9 the next morning the booking is in the calendar. Nobody on the desk had to read a message overnight.

Calls and WhatsApp together

It remembers the call when the patient messages.

Indian patients call, then message, then call again. The same receptionist answers both, with the same facts about your clinic and the same booking, so nobody is asked to start over.

During a call it sends the open slots to the caller's WhatsApp, and the patient taps one to confirm. Names and times are never misheard because the patient chose them on screen.

Languages

11 languages, and it follows the caller.

The receptionist speaks English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Odia. It answers in the language the patient starts in and switches if they do, so a caller who opens in Hindi and drifts into Kannada is never asked to repeat themselves.

You choose which languages your clinic offers and which one it greets in. A clinic in Pune might greet in Marathi and offer Hindi and English. A clinic in Bengaluru might offer five.

What it costs

One published price, minutes included.

Core is ₹2,999 a month plus GST. It includes 250 AI call minutes every month, unlimited WhatsApp, reminders and follow-ups, and your first doctor. There is no setup fee and no commission on bookings.

Paying for a longer term takes 8 percent off quarterly and 20 percent off yearly. Extra doctors start at ₹999 a month each and get cheaper as the team grows. If a busy month uses more than the included minutes, top-ups cost ₹5.50 to ₹7.50 a minute depending on the pack, bought ahead from the dashboard.

Every figure here is the same one on the pricing page, which also works out the total for your number of doctors and term. For how this compares with other tools sold to Indian clinics, see the AI receptionist pricing guide.

What it does not do

Where it stops, on purpose.

A receptionist that oversteps is worse than one that misses a call. These are the lines Pluxo does not cross.

  • It does not give medical advice, a diagnosis or a dose, even when a caller insists. It says the doctor will look at it properly and offers a slot.
  • In an emergency it tells the caller to hang up and call their local emergency number, before anything else.
  • It does not read out reports or approve prescription refills. It notes the request and your team follows up.
  • It never offers a time that is not in a doctor’s real schedule, and never double-books.
  • It does not pretend to be human. It says it is the clinic’s AI receptionist in its first sentence.
  • It does not quote a price you have not given it. Anything it cannot answer goes to your team on WhatsApp, with the conversation attached.
