AI Receptionist for Physiotherapy Clinics

Every therapist is with a patient. Who is booking the next one?

Physiotherapy runs on repeat visits and constant rescheduling, the two things a busy desk handles worst. Pluxo books the course, moves sessions on WhatsApp, and answers the phone in the caller's language.

The problem

Where the calls slip through.

Three therapists, one phone, and everyone is hands-on. Calls ring out.

A patient on 12 sessions reschedules four of them; each change is a phone call nobody can take.

Home-visit requests, insurance questions and "do you treat sciatica?" all land on the same overloaded line.

Sessions are missed because reminders never went out, and the slot sat empty.

New patients want to know if you treat their problem before they book. If nobody says yes quickly, they do not book.

How Pluxo solves this

Built for how a physiotherapy clinic actually runs.

Recurring sessions, booked once

A 10-session course is scheduled in one go, each slot in the right therapist's calendar, and reminded the evening before.

Reschedule by WhatsApp

"Can I move Thursday to Friday?" is handled in the chat, against real availability, without a call to the desk.

Per-therapist calendars

Each therapist has their own hours and slot length. A booking never lands on a therapist who is not in.

Answers the conditions you treat

Back pain, post-surgery rehab, sports injury: the receptionist knows what you treat and books the first assessment.

Home-visit requests captured

Requests you cannot auto-book, like home visits, are captured with the details and sent to your team to confirm.

Answers in their language

Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia or English. It switches if the caller does.

How a call goes

A physiotherapy clinic call, start to finish.

An example with a made-up clinic, on WhatsApp.

  1. Patient

    I can't make Wednesday's session. Can I move it?

  2. Pluxo

Of course. This is session 5 of 10 with Rahul. He has Thursday at 7:30 am or Friday at 6 pm. Which works?

  3. Patient

    Friday 6.

  4. Pluxo

Moved to Friday at 6 pm. Your next session stays on Monday at 7:30 am.

  5. Your team

Wednesday's slot is open again for someone else, and nobody at the desk took a call to make it happen.

Languages

11 languages, and it follows the caller.

The receptionist speaks English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Odia. It answers in the language the patient starts in and switches if they do, so a caller who opens in Hindi and drifts into Kannada is never asked to repeat themselves.

You choose which languages your clinic offers and which one it greets in. A clinic in Pune might greet in Marathi and offer Hindi and English. A clinic in Bengaluru might offer five.

What it costs

One published price, minutes included.

Core is ₹2,999 a month plus GST. It includes 250 AI call minutes every month, unlimited WhatsApp, reminders and follow-ups, and your first doctor. There is no setup fee and no commission on bookings.

Paying for a longer term takes 8 percent off quarterly and 20 percent off yearly. Extra doctors start at ₹999 a month each and get cheaper as the team grows. If a busy month uses more than the included minutes, top-ups cost ₹5.50 to ₹7.50 a minute depending on the pack, bought ahead from the dashboard.

Every figure here is the same one on the pricing page, which also works out the total for your number of doctors and term. For how this compares with other tools sold to Indian clinics, see the AI receptionist pricing guide.

What it does not do

Where it stops, on purpose.

A receptionist that oversteps is worse than one that misses a call. These are the lines Pluxo does not cross.

  • It does not give medical advice, a diagnosis or a dose, even when a caller insists. It says the doctor will look at it properly and offers a slot.
  • In an emergency it tells the caller to hang up and call their local emergency number, before anything else.
  • It does not read out reports or approve prescription refills. It notes the request and your team follows up.
  • It never offers a time that is not in a doctor’s real schedule, and never double-books.
  • It does not pretend to be human. It says it is the clinic’s AI receptionist in its first sentence.
  • It does not quote a price you have not given it. Anything it cannot answer goes to your team on WhatsApp, with the conversation attached.
