The problem
Where the calls slip through.
An injured caller cannot get through while the surgeon is in theatre and the desk is billing.
"Is the doctor in today?", "Do I need an X-ray first?", "How much is a consultation?" all day.
Post-op reviews at two weeks and six weeks are missed because no one called to remind.
A first consult for a knee and a two-minute dressing check are booked into the same slot length.
Callers describe a fall in their own words, and a hurried desk sends them to the wrong doctor.

How Pluxo solves this
Built for how a orthopaedic clinic actually runs.
Routes what the caller actually said
A fall, a knock or joint pain goes to orthopaedics. It never invents a condition the caller did not describe.
Post-op reviews on schedule
Reviews are booked at the intervals you set after surgery, with a WhatsApp reminder before each.
Slots that fit the visit
First consults, reviews and dressing checks each get their own length in each surgeon's real schedule.
Speaks the patient's language
English, Hindi and nine more Indian languages, switching mid-call if the caller does.
Emergencies handled first
Anyone describing a serious injury is told to call their local emergency number before anything else.
One view for the front desk
Calls, transcripts and bookings in one dashboard, so the desk knows who called and why.
How a call goes
A orthopaedic clinic call, start to finish.
An example with a made-up clinic. The caller speaks Hindi; it is shown here in English.
Pluxo
Hello, this is Joint Care Clinic's AI receptionist. This call may be recorded. How can I help?
Patient
I slipped on the stairs yesterday and my ankle is swollen. Can I see a doctor today?
Pluxo
Dr. Kulkarni sees patients until 7 this evening. There is a slot at 6:10. Shall I send it to your WhatsApp?
Patient
Yes. Should I get an X-ray first?
Pluxo
The doctor will decide that when he sees the ankle. The clinic can do the X-ray on site if it's needed.
Your team
The booking reads "fall, swollen ankle", in the caller's words, not a guess at a diagnosis.
Languages
11 languages, and it follows the caller.
The receptionist speaks English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Odia. It answers in the language the patient starts in and switches if they do, so a caller who opens in Hindi and drifts into Kannada is never asked to repeat themselves.
You choose which languages your clinic offers and which one it greets in. A clinic in Pune might greet in Marathi and offer Hindi and English. A clinic in Bengaluru might offer five.
What it costs
One published price, minutes included.
Core is ₹2,999 a month plus GST. It includes 250 AI call minutes every month, unlimited WhatsApp, reminders and follow-ups, and your first doctor. There is no setup fee and no commission on bookings.
Paying for a longer term takes 8 percent off quarterly and 20 percent off yearly. Extra doctors start at ₹999 a month each and get cheaper as the team grows. If a busy month uses more than the included minutes, top-ups cost ₹5.50 to ₹7.50 a minute depending on the pack, bought ahead from the dashboard.
Every figure here is the same one on the pricing page, which also works out the total for your number of doctors and term. For how this compares with other tools sold to Indian clinics, see the AI receptionist pricing guide.
What it does not do
Where it stops, on purpose.
A receptionist that oversteps is worse than one that misses a call. These are the lines Pluxo does not cross.
- It does not give medical advice, a diagnosis or a dose, even when a caller insists. It says the doctor will look at it properly and offers a slot.
- In an emergency it tells the caller to hang up and call their local emergency number, before anything else.
- It does not read out reports or approve prescription refills. It notes the request and your team follows up.
- It never offers a time that is not in a doctor’s real schedule, and never double-books.
- It does not pretend to be human. It says it is the clinic’s AI receptionist in its first sentence.
- It does not quote a price you have not given it. Anything it cannot answer goes to your team on WhatsApp, with the conversation attached.
