The problem
Where the calls slip through.
Calls come in during a root canal, the receptionist is billing a patient, and the caller books with the clinic across the road.
"Do you do braces?", "How much is a cleaning?", "Is the implant done in one sitting?" are answered forty times a day by someone who should be seating patients.
A 45-minute RCT and a 15-minute check-up need different slots; a generic booking tool books them the same.
Patients in pain call at 9 pm. Nobody answers. By morning they have found someone who did.
Recall for a six-month cleaning never happens because nobody has time to call the list.

How Pluxo solves this
Built for how a dental clinic actually runs.
Procedure-aware slots
A cleaning, an RCT and an implant consult each get the length you set. The receptionist offers only slots that fit, never a 15-minute gap for an hour's work.
Answers your fee questions honestly
It quotes the consultation fee you set and says which procedures are quoted after examination, rather than guessing a number a patient will hold you to.
Recall that actually runs
Six-month cleaning recalls and post-procedure check-ins go out on WhatsApp automatically, with a tap to book.
Pain calls escalate
A caller in pain after hours is told what to do and your on-call number is alerted with the transcript, not left to a voicemail.
Speaks the patient's language
English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and six more. It follows the caller, mid-call if they switch.
One place for the front desk
Every call, message and booking lands in one dashboard your receptionist runs from a phone.
How a call goes
A dental clinic call, start to finish.
An example with a made-up clinic. The patient calls at 9:10 pm, in Tamil; it is shown here in English.
Pluxo
Hello, this is Smile Dental's AI receptionist. This call may be recorded. How can I help?
Patient
My tooth has been hurting since last night. Can I come in tomorrow? Will I need a root canal?
Pluxo
Dr. Menon will tell you after examining the tooth. She has a 20-minute slot at 9:40 tomorrow morning for exactly this. Shall I send it to your WhatsApp?
Patient
Yes, please.
Pluxo
Sent. Tap it to confirm and you're booked. If the swelling spreads to your face or you have trouble swallowing tonight, please go to the nearest emergency department.
Your team
The 9:40 slot is booked as a pain consult, not a 15-minute check-up, because that is how you set it up.
Languages
11 languages, and it follows the caller.
The receptionist speaks English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Odia. It answers in the language the patient starts in and switches if they do, so a caller who opens in Hindi and drifts into Kannada is never asked to repeat themselves.
You choose which languages your clinic offers and which one it greets in. A clinic in Pune might greet in Marathi and offer Hindi and English. A clinic in Bengaluru might offer five.
What it costs
One published price, minutes included.
Core is ₹2,999 a month plus GST. It includes 250 AI call minutes every month, unlimited WhatsApp, reminders and follow-ups, and your first doctor. There is no setup fee and no commission on bookings.
Paying for a longer term takes 8 percent off quarterly and 20 percent off yearly. Extra doctors start at ₹999 a month each and get cheaper as the team grows. If a busy month uses more than the included minutes, top-ups cost ₹5.50 to ₹7.50 a minute depending on the pack, bought ahead from the dashboard.
Every figure here is the same one on the pricing page, which also works out the total for your number of doctors and term. For how this compares with other tools sold to Indian clinics, see the AI receptionist pricing guide.
What it does not do
Where it stops, on purpose.
A receptionist that oversteps is worse than one that misses a call. These are the lines Pluxo does not cross.
- It does not give medical advice, a diagnosis or a dose, even when a caller insists. It says the doctor will look at it properly and offers a slot.
- In an emergency it tells the caller to hang up and call their local emergency number, before anything else.
- It does not read out reports or approve prescription refills. It notes the request and your team follows up.
- It never offers a time that is not in a doctor’s real schedule, and never double-books.
- It does not pretend to be human. It says it is the clinic’s AI receptionist in its first sentence.
- It does not quote a price you have not given it. Anything it cannot answer goes to your team on WhatsApp, with the conversation attached.
